This 11-day Flavour of Brazil itinerary is the perfect introduction to the country of samba, sunshine and iconic sights.
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro for a three-night stay in a centrally-located hotel in Copacabana. On your first day, enjoy an exciting half-day tour to Corcovado (Statue of Christ the Redeemer) where you will have some fantastic views over the city. For the remainder of your time in Rio, you could visit the historic downtown area or the beautiful botanical gardens. Alternatively, you might choose to spend your time sipping caipirinhas on the beautiful sands of Copacabana Beach!
Today you will fly to Foz do Iguaçu to discover the mighty Iguazu Falls. You will have three nights at this incredible location. Enjoy a half-day tour to the Brazilian side of the Iguaçu Falls for some fantastic panoramic views of one of the world’s most beautiful waterfalls. For the remainder of your time here, you could explore the national parks or try one of the numerous activities on offer.
In the morning you will fly back to Rio de Janeiro where you will transfer to Buzios. Buzios is a relaxed town on a peninsula which is home to over 20 stunning beaches. You can spend your time relaxing in the famous Brazilian sunshine or perhaps take a schooner trip for some world-class snorkelling.
You will head back to Rio de Janeiro and on to the airport for your onward flight
