Location
The Resort is located in the coastal and historic village of Máleme, the prefecture of Haniá, Crete. In rural surroundings, the beach is only 500m away and it’s a 5 minute stroll to the resort centre. The landscape combines the natural beauty of the mountain and the sea. The area is ideal for long walks to the traditional village that is surrounded by olive and orange groves overlooking the endless Cretan blue sea.

The hotel has a fantastic accessible swimming pool with ramp access and there are lots of local excursions which are wheelchair friendly, such as visiting the old town of Chania, a tour of the white mountains, visiting an archaeological museum and many more.
In the resort, you also have access to a range of sports equipment, with volleyball and basketball courts available for you to use as well as a boccia court, which is a sport that is highly advertised in the Paralympic games.

Located close to an accessible beach in Máleme, there’s a large wooden ramp and a floating wheelchair to give you the access to swim in one of the cleanest, pretty and deep blue sea water, of Crete. There are also sun-chairs, umbrellas, showers and sea sports.
Cafes, bars and local restaurants also sit along the waterfront, some of which offer accessible toilets and the nightlife is good, but if you want it to be more intense, it’s recommended visiting the nearby cities of Platanias and Chania.
