Families will enjoy the huge Parque Metropolitano where they will find a zoo, botanical garden and swimming pools.
Outside of the capital, why not take a trip to the Atacama Desert, the driest nonpolar desert on Earth, stretching for roughly 600-miles. Or be wowed by the breathtaking lakes and mountains of the Puerto Varas region and the glacial fjords of Patagonia. If that isn’t enough, you could also fly to the remote volcanic Easter island, famed for its archaeological sites including the moai, carved human figures with oversize heads.
