Kurumba was the first resort in the Maldives to open, nearly 50 years ago. It has a traditional style with a variety of more contemporary facilities.
There is a fabulous choice of dining, with excellent quality. Vihamanaa is the main restaurant, serving up a variety of buffet dishes. There are also seven speciality restaurants, from Italian fine dining to Middle Eastern cuisine. Thila is the gourmet breakfast venue for higher room types, extending out over the water. This is also a great spot for seafood dinners.
Snorkelling is available on the house reef, close to the beach. Diving packages are also available to pre-book.
Rooms have traditional exteriors, more modern furnishings and are clustered around the network of paths. Superior Rooms are in two-storey buildings with views of the coconut groves. Beachfront Deluxe Bungalows have direct beach views. For a more secluded stay, choose from a range of spacious villas with private pools.
