Also Included Onboard the Queen Mary 2:

Main dining: your table is reserved for breakfast, lunch and dinner in one of the sophisticated main restaurants aboard. Each is the home of deliciously imaginative menus, exceptional wines and impeccable service.
Alternative dining and Wine experiences are available at an additional cost.

Evening performances: every evening during your cruise promises a stellar array of entertainment choices, including music, dance performances and magic shows. Watch the resident singers and dancers perform dazzling West End- style productions or abridged Shakespeare performances. You can also enjoy a talented line-up of vocalists and instrumentalists, aerial performers and illusionists, stand-up comedians and variety entertainers.

Live Music: Live music is an unmistakable signature of every moment on your ship. Accomplished resident musicians will create an enticing ambience for relaxing moments and grand social occasions, including a string trio providing a melodic accompaniment to Afternoon Tea and a resident pianist setting an elegant tone to evening dinner drinks.  You’ll also find harpists and contemporary bands in public rooms and lounges throughout the ship.

Traditional Afternoon Tea: If anything perfectly encapsulates Cunard’s service and sense of occasion, it is the daily ritual of Afternoon Tea, served by white-gloved waiters from 3.30 to 4.30pm every day. Indulgent finger sandwiches, scones and pastries accompany fine leaf teas, as the orchestra provides a melodic backdrop. Grills guests may also retreat to the more intimate Princess Grill restaurant.

Children’s facilities: children of all ages are welcome on Cunard ships, which have dedicated clubs offering activities and entertainment at The Play Zone (2-7 years) or The Zone (8-17-years). These include arts and crafts, sporting activities, play areas, computer games and much more. The ship’s youth staff will supervise your children, organise events, activities and competitions, and even ‘excursions’ to the theatre or cinema on board.

Planetarium: you know you’re on a special ship when you can settle into your comfortable seat in the only planetarium at sea.  The planetarium dome can send you on an epic voyage across the solar system, teach you to navigate by the stars, or show other science and natural history films, with up to four screenings on each sea day.  In addition, Illuminations is a luxury 3D cinema and a classical music venue, hosting 3D films, stunning concerts and recitals.
Library: For many, a good read is an essential part of a relaxing holiday and there’s no better time to indulge this passion than whilst on board.  You’ll find the range of titles available as impressive as the refined surroundings.  You might also wish to join the Cunard Book Club, where thought provoking literary discussions with fellow guests are led by the ship’s librarian.
Gala Balls: the Gala Balls are highly anticipated on any cruise of three nights or more. An eight-piece orchestra sets the tempo to an evening of dancing, with gentlemen hosts always waiting to accompany any single ladies. Every event has a glamorous theme, i.e. a traditional Black & White Ball, Masquerade Ball, a Roaring Twenties Ball and a hat-focused Ascot Ball.
